teppanyaki hibachi grill | hibachi mashed potatoes

This is the perfect recipe for our Cookeryaki Hibachi recipe and can be served as a side dish or simple appetizer for dinner!

With mashed potatoes

Take 1 pound small golden potatoes and cook until tender.

Bring your teppanyaki hibachi grill to medium heat

Boil a few strips of bacon until crispy and set aside.

Melt 2 tablespoons butter on the hibachi grill table. Add the 8-10 potatoes to the grill like this and mash them with a spatula.

 

 

Let them cook until the bottom starts to brown, then flip over. Add a little more butter if needed.

Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and sprinkle with bacon. Add chives or parsley if desired.

 

 

Let the cheese melt and the potatoes on the bottom turn brown, then move to the side to keep warm, or transfer to a plate.

 

 

Warning, if your guests or family can't see these items, they may not be on the table... ; )
